About meAmber Sutton, PhD
Therapist | Founder & Owner of Soulhearted Therapy & Consulting, LLC
Personal InsightsI’m a licensed clinical social worker with more than 12 years of experience supporting survivors of violence, caregivers, and people navigating major life transitions. I have served as a board member for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and am certified in the Danger Assessment.
My work is rooted in feminist therapy and trauma-informed care and I work with adults across Alabama through both in-person and telehealth therapy.
My therapeutic approach helps clients slow down, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with themselves so they can feel steadier, clearer, and more rooted, all through a lens of compassion, curiosity, nervous system safety, and grounded accountability. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, watching hockey (Let’s Go Blues!), boxing, weightlifting, reading, and organizing anything I can get my hands on.
